James is the Area Director of Operations for Bloom Senior Living’s Indiana Region, including Bloom at Kokomo, Bloom at Eagle Creek and Bloom at German Church. He also serves as Bloom at Kokomo’s Executive Director and was previously Bloom at German Church and Bloom at Eagle Creek’s Executive Directors. James is responsible for overseeing daily operations and providing support to Bloom’s Indiana communities, ensuring high quality care and services are provided to residents and achieving high resident satisfaction. Like the Bloom owners who were inspired after experiencing the challenge of finding the right home for their grandmother when she began suffering from Alzheimer’s, there is a touching personal story behind James’ passion for senior care. James believes in offering a modern, lifestyle approach to healthcare that caters to the needs of each individual. He shares Bloom’s vision, core values and is committed to creating a living environment that fosters self-growth and self-actualization for our residents by providing them with the tools, resources and encouragement to flourish. Before joining Bloom, James worked for national providers as the Executive Director and Director of Admissions and Marketing for Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing communities in Indiana. Before becoming a licensed Health Facility Administrator, James ran his own commercial production company specializing in corporate and large-scale entertainment (for clients such as the Indianapolis, Colts, Harrah’s Casino, Wonka Candies and Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association); and worked in the beverage and automotive industries. He is also a professional magician. James attended Indiana State University and is working towards his Master’s Degree in Arts at University of Indianapolis. He resides near Greenfield, Indiana with his wife and children.
Natasha is the Wellness Director responsible for overseeing resident health care services, the medication delivery system, in-service training of the Health Services Department and conducting assessments. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse and has extensive experience in this regard overseeing resident care at various Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation, Home Health and Assisted Living/Memory Care communities.
Jina is the Dietary Service Director responsible for overseeing the Dietary Department and makes delicious and nutritious home-cooked meals from scratch every day for our residents using only the freshest, seasonal ingredients. Our residents enjoy a five-star dining experience lead by Leesa filled with a rich assortment of menu options. In collaboration with our Registered Dietician, Jina incorporates resident’s personal recipes, special requests, old time favorites and specific dietary needs so our well-balanced gourmet menus are designed with their health, personal tastes and preferences in mind. Understanding how important great food is to our residents, Jina is consistently introducing exciting new cuisines for the community to enjoy. Jina was previously the Culinary Manager at Indiana senior living communities, and is ServeSafe certified.
Kathy is the Community Relations Director responsible for sales and marketing and has helped numerous families find placement for their loved ones. She is here to help you navigate the process and find the best fit for you and your loved one.
Brandi is the Life Enrichment Coordinator responsible for planning and coordinating community-sponsored activity, exercise and wellness programs for the Assisted Living residents, as well as, ensuring our residents continue to live life to their fullest potential, enjoying their favorite activities while discovering new ones, and blooming into their best selves through growth and discovery. Brandi is a seasoned event planner, and her creativity and enthusiasm is second to none.
Melissa is the Memory Care Director responsible for overseeing the care in our safe and secure Memory Care program. She is also responsible for planning and coordinating community-sponsored activity, exercise and wellness programs for Memory Care residents, as well as, ensuring our residents continue to live life to their fullest potential, enjoying their favorite activities while discovering new ones, and blooming into their best selves through growth and discovery. Alzheimer’s and dementia do not stop an artist from wanting to paint, a fisherman from wanting to fish or a dancer from wanting to dance. While some residents may have lost their short term memories, Melissa’s mission, through our specialized programming and full calendar of activities and wellness programs, is to stimulate the long term memories that remain intact allowing our residents to continue being who they have always been.
Morgan is the Business Office Manager responsible for maintaining day-to-day business office operations and procedures, including payroll, rent deposits and resident billing. Prior to Bloom, Morgan worked for State Farm Insurance in Kokomo. She graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelors of Science general studies and minors in business administration and foundations of business.
